Red Maranta

Maranta leuconeura erythroneura

    Red Maranta, also known as "Red-veined Prayer Plant", the name coming from the way in which  it folds its leaves up in a prayer position at night. It is a beautiful plant known for its striking oval green foliage with red veins, giving it a very distinctive look. It makes a beautiful houseplant in a bright, indirect light location or in a shady area in any landscape. It prefers well-draining, moist soil.
