    Viola Silver Gem is a beautiful Florida native that is best known for its stunning gray-green-silver leaves and adorned with adorable violet colored flowers. It is a great ground cover, perfect for shady areas. It likes moist, well-drained soils, but once established it is fairly drought tolerant making it a great addition to any shady rock garden as well. It blooms Spring-Fall and attracts a variety of butterflies as a nectar source.
